Marina Eurich

Marina Eurich has been deputy head of the research area "Business Cycle and Growth" at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) since April 2022. Since May 2019, she has been a research associate at the Chair of Political Economy and Empirical Economic Research at Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg (HSU). At the HSU and at the HWWI, Marina Eurich primarily conducts research using the methods of modern econometrics in the field of climate economics and business cycle & growth. She is responsible for the HWWI Commodity Price Index.

Andreas Lagemann

Andreas Lagemann is a Senior Researcher at the Hamburg Institute of International Economics (HWWI) since January 2016. In addition to his work in the research area of “Labour, Education and Demography” at HWWI, he supports the calculation of the HWWI commodity price index.

Energy and Environmental Economics

The global consumption of resources and energy continues to rise unabated. At present, it is only beginning to be possible to reconcile economic growth and environmental concerns. In the Research Field “Energy and Environmental Economics ” we are investigating how the present and the future can be made more sustainable.
